Location. The Grand Hotel Berti is located in Silvi Marina, Italy, adjacent to its own private beach and 15 kilometres from Pescara.
Hotel Features. This five-storey beachfront property (accessible by lift) is a modern, family-run hotel set within lush gardens. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, health club and spa with massage services, restaurant and bar, and business centre with conference rooms and wireless Internet. An express check-in/check-out service is in operation at the 24- hour front desk, where multilingual staff are on hand to assist with travel and tourist arrangements. Porters are available to transfer luggage and parking is provided (surcharge).

Dining is available at the Il Guazzetto Restaurant which serves Italian and seafood specialities in a classic atmosphere. Cocktails and appetizers are served in the hotel bar which has American decor, and at the poolside bar on the sun terrace. Guests receive a complimentary breakfast each morning, and guests booking full-board rooms are not charged for lunch or dinner.

A wide range of recreational activities is offered on site, including tennis, fitness sessions, sky diving, and water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, and fishing. There is a golf course nearby and bicycles, scooters, and horses can be hired in the vicinity. There are clubs for children of all ages offering a full programme of activities and entertainment. There are also organised activities, lessons, competitions, and games to keep adults busy.

Guestrooms. The 142 air- conditioned guestrooms have contemporary wood furniture, laminated flooring and bright, modern decor. All have balconies and are equipped with satellite television, direct-dial telephones, minibars, and Internet access. Private bathrooms have bidets, handheld showers, baths, and telephones. Bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers, and complimentary designer toiletries are supplied. In-room massage and childcare services also be arranged.

Getting there. Taxis are available from the Arrivals gate and fares to the hotel are approximately 25 EUR.

Getting around. Bicycles and scooters can be hired locally, and are a good way to explore the coastal areas. A private car is useful for travelling further afield.

Driving directions. From the airport, travel in the direction of Silvi Marina.
From highway A14, take the exit to Pescara Nord Città Sant'Angelo.
Continue 1.7 kilometres.
The hotel is located on the beachfront.
