Location.The Villa Esperia Hotel is a hilltop property located in Sicily, Italy, between the Sicilian bays of Mazzarò and Sirens. The historical centre of Taormina is a 100-metre cable car ride away.
Hotel Features. This contemporary hotel has an air-conditioned lobby with Internet connections (surcharge), and an outdoor swimming pool and poolside bar with panoramic views. Guests can also relax in the hotel garden and on the sun terraces with beach views.

The Villa Esperia Hotel's Restaurant serves traditional Sicilian and international dishes with al fresco dining and views over the bays. Complimentary continental buffet breakfast is available, and the hotel also offers a half-board room rate which includes breakfast and dinner.

Swimming and bird watching are offered onsite, and there is a kids' club. Bicycle and scooter rentals, golfing, and court sports are offered nearby. Boating, scuba diving, fishing and wind surfing are also available in the area.

Guestrooms. The 65 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in neutral cool tones with contemporary furnishings. Amenities include refrigerators, satellite television, direct-dial phones, safes and hair dryers. Bathrooms feature complimentary designer toiletries and telephones.

Expert Tip.Visit Taormina's 10,000-seat ancient Greek amphitheatre, erected in the third century BC and expanded by the Romans, for stunning views of Mount Etna and the sea beyond.

From Catania Airport (CTA):
Distance to Villa Esperia Hotel is 50 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. Buses also run directly to Syracuse and Taormina. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. A taxi costs approximately 75 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Taormina to Sicily's other larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas. Scooter and bicycle rentals are available nearby the hotel.

Driving directions.Depart Catania Airport and take the motorway to Messina.
Exit at Taormina and follow signs to Taormina Mare.
Continue and follow signs to Mazzaro Beach and the funicular station Piazzale Funivia.

Lage: An der Strasse (Bergseite), Parkplatz gegen hohe Gebühr. Zimmer: Keine Zahnputz- und Trinkbecher (1x Plastikbecher in 3 Tagen). Unappetitlicher Bettvorleger. Zimmer ansonsten ok. Grosse kahle Terrasse, ohne Liegen, Sonnenschirm, Blumenkübel. Pool: Unsaubere Gesamt-Anlage mit Liegen, aber ohne Sonnenschirme, Grünpflanzen, Handtücher. Automatischer Poolbodenreiniger läuft während Badebetrieb, behindert durch Kabel und reinigt nur ungenügend. Frühstück: Selbstbedienung auch mit Kaffee und Tee. was umständlich ist und Unsauberkeit hinterlässt.
