Location. The seafront Villa Bianca Hotel is located in Taormina, Italy, in the bay of Mazzaro overlooking Isola Bella. The hotel is 50 metres from the cable car, which connects to Taormina city centre. There is a bus stop outside the hotel.
Hotel Features. Villa Bianca Hotel consists of three buildings, which are interconnected by steps and paths leading through lush gardens. There are two sun terraces and two lounges with televisions.

The spacious restaurant Principe at Villa Bianca Hotel offers a range of local and international dishes. Folk shows and Sicilian buffets are arranged once a week. The Terrace Bar offers snacks and drinks on the open-air terrace. A complimentary breakfast buffet is available in the breakfast room. The half-board rate includes a four-course menu in the evening.

The hotel offers a shuttle service to the Ipanema Lido Beach Club, a private beach with bar, football pitch, tennis court and swimming pool with deckchairs and umbrellas. The Beach Club is 200 metres from the hotel.

Guestrooms. All 86 guestrooms have balconies or small terraces. The rooms are light and have tiled floors and wooden classic style furniture. The private bathrooms feature showers and bidets. All guestrooms are equipped with satellite television and direct-dial phones. Further amenities include minibars and in-room safes. Half-board rates are available.

Expert Tip. Parco Duca di Cesaro is one of the most beautiful gardens in Sicily created by Lady Florence Trevelyan, who was asked to leave England after a romance with the future king Edward VII, son of Victoria.

Distance to Villa Bianca Hotel is 45 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The SAIS bus runs to Taormina and stops at Piazzale della Funivia, outside the hotel. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 100 EUR to the hotel. The Villa Bianca Hotel also offers airport transfer at a surcharge. The price is subject to change.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
