Location. The Hotel Villa Diodoro is located in Taormina, Sicily, 500 metres from the town centre. There are ancient Greek ruins 800 metres from the hotel, and volcanic Mount Etna is 25 kilometres away. Taormina Giardini Naxos railway station is three kilometres away.
Hotel Features. This family-run villa hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and garden terrace. The building itself is classically designed with high French windows, ornate wooden boiseries, and flower-filled balconies.

Hotel Villa Diodoro's restaurant specialises in local Sicilian and Mediterranean dishes, with meals served on the garden terrace during the summer. The extensive wine list focuses on produce from the vineyards around Mount Etna. A complimentary buffet breakfast is available. The half-board rate includes breakfast and four-course dinner.

The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to Mermaids' Bay, a private beach. Guests have complimentary access to the wellbeing centre in the hotel's sister establishment Hotel Caparena.

Getting there: Direct bus services are available to Taormina from the airport. Bus tickets must be bought at a booth just outside the terminal building and validated when boarding. A taxi costs approximately 100 EUR to Taormina. All prices subject to change.

Getting around: Taormina is connected to the rest of Sicily by an efficient and inexpensive rail network; Taormina Giardini Naxos railway station is 3 kilometres from the hotel. Local bus services operate in most towns and connect the more remote villages. A car would be useful for exploring further afield.
