Beschreibung

Location. The Urban Hotel Design is located in Trieste, Italy, within 500 metres of the city centre's shops and historic sights and 500 metres from the seafront. The railway station is one kilometre from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The design hotel offers a contemporary and minimalist ambience. Garage parking is available at a surcharge, which includes pick-up and delivery of cars by hotel staff. The hotel also provides express check-in and check-out service, and babysitting can be arranged on request.

The Urban Hotel design includes the Urban Lounge Bar decorated in contemporary style, offering a selection of cocktails and Italian wines. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served each morning.

The hotel offers a conference room, which can accommodate up to 60 people.

The nearby fitness centre offers a discounted fee for hotel guests. Several water-based activities are possible, such as boating, windsurfing, and swimming. The Golf Club Trieste is five kilometres from the hotel.

Guestrooms. The 40 air-conditioned guestrooms are modern and of minimalist design, decorated in white with wooden floorboards. The bathrooms with granite tiles offer showers and bidets, complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Bathrobes and slippers are provided, and all guestrooms are equipped with satellite television, telephones, and complimentary Internet connections. Further amenities include complimentary newspapers, minibars, and safes.

Expert Tip. In Piazza de la Borsa, the Old Exchange (Borsa Vechhia) can be found, a neo- classical building from 1806. Beyond the square unfolds a maze of narrow streets, with small antique shops and second-hand boutiques.

Distance to Urban Hotel Design is 35 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number 55 bus runs to Trieste main railway station. Single tickets to Trieste cost 2.55 EUR. Taxis are available between 8 a.m. and midnight, and cost about 60 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Trieste's public transport system includes buses, trams, and a funicular railway. Trains run from Trieste train station to destinations throughout Italy and into Slovenia. Coaches run from Trieste bus station to Croatia and Slovenia. Good bus services link the towns throughout Croatia and Slovenia. A car is useful for exploring further afield.
