Centrally located and set in a converted 13th century Venetian palace, the Hotel Palazzo Vitturi is just 200 metres from St Mark's Square. The hotel building retains many original features, and restored works of art are on display. The nine air-conditioned guestrooms feature original period details such as beamed ceilings and parquet floors, and have decor in white and gold tones. All include minibars, satellite television, direct-dial phones and safes.
Guests can start the day with breakfast in the hotel's dining room. Daily newspapers are available for browsing in the bar or lounge, and guests can relax with drinks on the roof terrace. Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs to Piazza Roma and use the car park there. Take waterbus line 1 or 82 to the Rialto Bridge. Walk until you reach Campo San Bortolomeo, take Sottoportego della Bissa and walk through Salizada San Lio (100 metres). Turn left at Calle del Mondo Nuovo, cross the bridge into Campo Santa Maria Formosa. Hotel Palazzo Vitturi is located ahead, opposite the left side of the church.
