Location. The Hotel Massimo is located in Viareggio, Italy, 100 metres from the beach, and one kilometre from the town centre with shops and the local market. The main railway station is one kilometre from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The hotel's quiet location in the pine forest near the beach is a relaxing base to explore Tuscany and the mountainous area behind Viareggio. The hotel features a lounge with television and fireplace, and there is wireless Internet access in public areas.

Hotel Massimo includes a traditionally furnished breakfast room, where a complimentary breakfast buffet is served in the mornings.

Bicycles can be hired nearby. The beach offers a wide range of recreational activities like boating, swimming and windsurfing, and tennis and horse riding can be arranged at the front desk.

Distance to Hotel Massimo is 20 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A direct train service runs between Pisa Airport and the city centre. A ticket costs 1.20 EUR. From Pisa, trains and busses connect to Viareggio. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Viareggio's city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. Cycling is popular for visiting the outskirts of the city excursions into the nearby nature reserves. Public buses run throughout the city, and CPT buses operate throughout the region. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
