Located in downtown Oakland and connected to the Oakland Convention Center, the Marriott Oakland City Center provides convenient, modern accommodations to business travelers and meeting attendees. The hotel is within walking distance of the Government Services Administration Building, and is across the street from the 12th Street BART train station with service to San Francisco and the East Bay. Within one mile of the hotel are the Ferry Building, Henry J Kaiser Convention Center, Jack London Square and the Lake Merritt business district.
The 21-story hotel offers 484 rooms, including seven suites and three concierge levels. Guestrooms provide commanding views of Lake Merritt, the Berkeley Marina, the bay and skyline of San Francisco, or the Golden Gate and Bay Bridge. Room amenities include coffee makers, refrigerators and high-speed Internet access. The hotel provides Wired for Business: Marriott`s new service that includes high-speed Internet access plus unlimited local and long-distance telephone calls within the United States for a set daily fee. This service can be requested at the front desk at check-in.

Dining options include the City Center Grill, serving contemporary American cuisine at all meals; the Atrium Lounge, open for lunch and dinner and offering a light menu and cocktails; and Java Parc Café, open for breakfast and serving light pastries and coffee.

This Marriott provides 16,000 square-feet of meeting space including ballrooms, executive boardrooms, hospitality parlors and multi-purpose meeting rooms. Other hotel services and amenities include an outdoor lap pool, spa tub, and fitness center. Paid parking is available in an adjacent non-Marriott garage with entrance at 11th and Clay Streets.
