Location. Rising above the Arabian Gulf, the Marriott Doha is situated opposite a private beach on the east coast of Doha Bay, Qatar. Doha Airport is five kilometres from the hotel and the Doha Golf Club is 20 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Marriott Doha is a luxury business and spa hotel surrounded by manicured gardens and housed in two towers connected by a common lobby area. The hotel offers direct access to a private beach and marina, and a full-service spa offers body scrubs, massage treatments, plunge pools, a steam room, and facial treatments. An outdoor pool is surrounded by palm trees. Complimentary valet parking is available from the front of the hotel.

Six restaurants are available at the Marriott Doha and offer a variety of dining options and atmospheres, including Asian, Tex-Mex, Mediterranean, and Indian cuisines. A nightclub opens and offers dancing at night.

The 1,448 square meter conference centre is ideal for business events and offers six meeting rooms and a ballroom. The hotel is equipped with wireless Internet access and a dedicated business centre is available.

Children can use the separate outdoor pool and there is a playground available. Complimentary fitness classes are available in the fitness centre and guests can play tennis on the courts.

Guestrooms. The Marriott Doha offers 362 air-conditioned guestrooms decorated in a light, Arabian style. The rooms feature satellite television, high- speed Internet access (surcharge), safes, minibars, and plush Marriott Revive bedding with 300-count Egyptian cotton sheets, down comforters, and mattress toppers. Turndown service is offered in the evening.

Distance to the Marriott Doha is 5 kilometres, approximately 10 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis run to Doha city centre and cost 70 QAR. Shuttle vans can be arranged to the city centre and cost about 35 QAR. Prices are subject to change.

Getting around. Mowasalat runs a bus network in and around the city. Intercity buses (serving the city centre only) are numbered with double digits while Interurban buses (for the suburbs and other cities) have three digits. Taxis run to Doha city centre and cost 70 QAR. Shuttle vans can be arranged to the city centre and cost about 35 QAR. Prices are subject to change. Bus fares are cheap with a selection of day, week, and monthly passes. Taxis are the easiest way to see the city, but be sure to secure the price prior to departure.
