Location. Seoul Grand Hilton is a modern, glass-fronted hotel and convention center in the northwest part of the city, four kilometers from the downtown Myungdong district. The Kwangha Gate is four kilometers away and the bustling Itaewon district is eight kilometers from the hotel. Incheon International Airport is 56 kilometers' distance.
Hotel Features. Dining options at the hotel include: Mitsumomo, a traditional Japanese restaurant serving delicacies from the Kansai Province; Yeohyang, which serves authentic Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine; and a buffet restaurant serving Korean dishes that holds outdoor barbecues during the summer months. There is also a café, a deli and a cigar lounge with leather armchairs, grand piano and an open fireplace. Guests can admire the impressive city views from the Terrace Lounge or unwind in the sauna. There is a heated indoor pool and a fully-equipped gymnasium with shock-absorbent aerobics floor; the Fitness Center offers strength training and cardiovascular equipment. Business guests are catered for with conference and meeting rooms, including a 2,500- person capacity convention center. Multilingual staff are on hand to advise on local sightseeing opportunities. Guests can end the day with a game of pool, or in the California-style nightclub which features five private karaoke rooms.

Guestrooms. The 12-story hotel features 396 air-conditioned guestrooms all of which include satellite television, high-speed Internet access, minibars and safes. Bathrooms have bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. All rooms are designed in a modern style, combining Eastern and Western influences.

Expert Tip. The Itaewon district is famous for all-night dancing and entertainment.

Buses run from Incheon airport to Seoul city centre and fares are around KRW 7,000. Taxis are available outside the terminal and cost around KRW 60,000, or limousines can be hired for the journey and will cost around KRW 80,000. Hotel staff can arrange transport around the local area. Seoul city centre can be explored on foot or by bus or taxi.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the airport express highway and exit at Jayuro Road. From there, take the inter-city expressway as far as Bulkwang ramp exit, proceed to the intersection and take a U-turn at the traffic lights. The hotel is located on the right just after the next traffic lights.
