Location.La Palmeraie Hotel is a luxury resort, set on the beautiful island of Mauritius, featuring Moroccan-style architecture and located next to a pristine lagoon and beach, three kilometres from Belle Mare. Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is 45 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features.La Palmeraie's on site spa centre offers a range of therapeutic massages and treatments, and there is an outdoor pool with a safe children's area, a fully supervised kids' club for 3-12 year olds, and childcare on offer. A boutique sells clothing, jewellery, souvenirs and holiday essentials, and multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can provide currency exchange and arrange laundry and dry cleaning. There is free, secure parking and airport transfers (surcharge).

La Palmeraie features the main Le Sheherazade restaurant with its Moroccan-style decor, overlooking the sea and pool. It serves a mix of eastern and western flavours and features regular theme nights. Le Momo's is a richly decorated Moorish restaurant featuring intimate tent-covered tables, and L'Oasis beachfront bar offers drinks and light snacks throughout the day.

The hotel has a wide variety of sports and activities on offer, including beach volley ball, windsurfing, scuba diving, water skiing, glass- bottom boat trips, deep-sea fishing and catamaran cruises.

Guestrooms. The 60 guestrooms are located over two floors and feature warm, modern furnishings and tiled floors. All feature balconies, air conditioning, minibars, coffee/tea makers, satellite television, wireless Internet access, direct-dial telephones, hair dryers, complimentary toiletries and safes.

Expert Tip.Guests can catch a boat six kilometres from the hotel to Ile Aux Cerfs, a large island located off the east coast of Mauritius, which measures more than 100 hectares and is known for its beautiful beaches. The island also features shops, bars and local entertainment. Guests can even learn to dance the 'sega' with the locals on the boat trip over and sample the local rhum.
