The Fairmont Monte Carlo is a grand hotel set between the casino and the Mediterranean coast, one kilometre from the luxury boutiques on the Carre d'Or. This 7 floor property features 616 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which are stylishly decorated in cool marine tones, with sofas with scatter cushions, armchairs, and blue and white stripy fabrics. Private balconies or terraces have views of the sea or the blossom gardens and are furnished with sun loungers and breakfast sitting areas. Marble bathrooms come with hair dryers and bathrobes, while other in-room amenities include satellite TV with pay movies, Internet connections, minibars, CD players, direct-dial phones, and safes.
Guests can exercise on cardiovascular machines in the fitness centre whilst enjoying views of Monaco and the beach. Qualified trainers are on hand to offer advice and tailored programme and there are a wide range of classes available including step, body sculpting, and yoga. The heated rooftop pool is open all year round and is surrounded by lounge chairs on wooden decking. Guests can unwind in the sauna and steam room, while spa treatments including Swedish massage, reflexology and facial beauty treatments, are available in the health club. Further indulgence is provided by the hotel's luxury shopping mall with its boutiques and gift shops and complimentary sightseeing excursions are available from Tuesday to Saturday. In the evening guests can enjoy dining options which include an al fresco Mediterranean style restaurant or a South American grill restaurant followed by a glass of champagne in one of the three bars. Valet parking is available on site at a cost of 25 EUR per day. The hotel is within 500 metres of the famous Monte Carlo Casino and the Opera House, as well as a shopping centre. Nice International Airport is 22 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

Anfahrt

There are regular helicopter flights from Nice airport to Monaco with shuttle links from the heliport to the hotel. The average journey time is 7 minutes. There are also regular daily connections by coach from the airport and the service stops in front of the hotel. There is a taxi rank outside the arrivals hall. A train can also be caught from Nice to Monte Carlo and the train station is 500 metres from the hotel. Monte Carlo town centre is easily explored on foot and is well connected by bus or train to other destinations in the region. A car is recommended for trips further afield.
Driving directions: From Nice take 56 Monaco exit and head towards Monaco. There is a choice of three major roads called Basse, Moyenne and Grande which offer attractive scenic routes towards Monaco.

gute Adresse für Normaltouristen

Das Hotel hat wunderschöne Lage und erfüllt alle Grundbedürfnisse, allerdings ist es schon ein bißchen älter und für anspruchsvolle Gäste nicht geeignet.
