Location. Greenwoods Bed & Breakfast Inn is located in Honeoye, N.Y., in the Finger Lakes Region. Boating and fishing are available less than three miles away on Honeoye Lake. The Cumming Nature Center, which includes a beaver pond, sugarhouse, and hiking and cross-country skiing trails, is less than eight miles from the inn.
Features. Built in 1989, this lodge-style hilltop inn is nestled on seven acres overlooking Honeoye Lake and Honeoye Valley. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room, featuring oatmeal raisin pancakes and Eggs Florentine. A guest sideboard is stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, soda, bottled water and home-baked cookies. Outside decks and common areas can be utilized as meeting spaces. Fax and photocopy machines, and a computer with Internet access, are available. An outdoor spa tub is set in the property's sunken garden, and can be reserved for private use. The inn's concierge service can assist with itinerary planning, arrangements for visiting local attractions, and directions to local restaurants.

Guestrooms. Greenwoods Bed & Breakfast Inn offers five guestrooms featuring featherbeds and European-style linens. Rooms offer private bathrooms, and are stocked with bathrobes and slippers. Cable television and VCRs are included. Woodland, lake or valley views are featured in the guestrooms. Select units showcase pickled pine, wood-paneled or exposed pine walls. All units are decorated with antiques and hooked rugs.

Expert Tip. With advance notice the bed and breakfast can prepare gourmet picnic baskets for guests to take out on the boat, in the woods or to the ski slopes. Picnic baskets include linens, dinnerware and generous food portions for two people. Fees apply.
