Housed in a turreted late-19th century building, the Rica Hotel Bygdøy Allè is a renovated hotel set one kilometre from historic Vigeland Park. The 57 guestrooms are decorated in soft neutral tones with patterned fabrics and wood furnishings. Modern amenities include wireless Internet connections, televisions, direct-dial phones, trouser presses, minibars and bathrooms with showers.
After breakfast, guests can browse the complimentary newspapers in the hotel lobby, surf the web via wireless Internet access, and enjoy complimentary access to a nearby fitness centre. The hotel restaurant, Egon, serves a range of French and Italian inspired dishes in a relaxed setting. Those on business can make use of the hotel's conference rooms and office-support services. Further amenities include room service, a 24-hour front desk with safe-deposit box and dry- cleaning services. Those wishing to explore the area will find the Nobel Institute three kilometres away, the Nationaltheater and metro station four kilometres away, and the Homenkollen museums are eight kilometres from the hotel. Oslo-Gardermoen Airport is 40 kilometres away and takes approximately 35 minutes to reach by car.

Anfahrt

The Airport Express train takes 20 minutes from Gardermoen Airport to the Central Train Station. Alternatively, taxis are readily available and cost NOK 500-900 to city centre. Bus and coach services also provide connections to many destinations in and around Oslo.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the E6 to Oslo and drive through the city towards Drammen. Exit the E6, following signs for Bygdøy. Turn left and follow the Bygdøy Allè road. The hotel is on the left- hand side.
