City bus 783 meets flights from 6 AM to 8.30 PM and costs about 2 USD to the Tarom headquarters at Piata Unirii in the city where taxis are available. This bus also goes to the other city airport, Baneasa. Driving directions: From the airport take Steaua Bucuresti-Ploiesti Street then Kiseleff through Piata 'Arcul de Triumf'. Continue on Kiseleff until Piata 'Victoriei'.

Kein Fünf-Stern-Hotel
Das Hotel wirkt trotz der fünf Sterne abgewohnt. Das Personal ist nicht sehr freundlich und die Zimmer könnten besser geputzt werden. Kurz: Maximal ein Drei-Stern-Hotel nach europäischem Standard.
