The Scandic Crown is a modern eight storey hotel situated opposite Trädgårdsföreningen Park in the centre of Gothenburg, 100 metres from the Central Station. The 338 guestrooms have light and fresh Nordic-style decor with wooden floors, cream walls, modern light wood furnishings and private bathrooms with either tubs or showers. In- room amenities include cable TV with pay movies, minibars, hair dryers and Internet connections.
Health conscious guests will appreciate the hotel's relaxation centre on the top floor of the hotel where facilities include saunas, solariums and spa tubs. The centre offers views over Gothenburg and from the comfort of the spa tub room service is just a phone call away; guests can enjoy a beer whilst relaxing on the terrace or in the tub itself. The centre and the gym, which has a range of cardiovascular machines and weights, are both complimentary for residents of the hotel. Parents will appreciate Sigge the Hedgehog's play corner located next to the main restaurant where kids can read books, watch movies and play with toys whilst parents dine. The hotel has 22 meeting rooms able to accommodate up to 300 people. Secure onsite garage parking is available (surcharge). The hotel is within walking distance of great shopping opportunities including Gothenburg's most fashionable street, Avenyn, and the Nordtaden shopping mall, both within 500 metres. For those seeking culture the fine art museum, science visitor centre and the Alvsborg fortress are within 1.5 kilometres, as is Sweden's largest amusement park. Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is 20 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Anfahrt

Taxis are available from outside the arrivals terminal and Flygbussarna-Airport buses run from the airport to the city centre, the stop is just opposite the hotel. Taxis should cost around SEK 70. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre which is easily explored on foot or using the excellent tram and bus network.
Driving Directions: From the airport take road 40 to Gothenburg. After entering Gothenburg take the exit marked 'Ullevi motet'. Continue straight, passing Ullevi stadium until you see sign 'Centralstationen' and then turn right following the sign. After 250 metres the main train station will be on the right-hand side. Continue on the same road and after passing the train station the hotel is 100 metres away.
