Location. The Clarion Hotel Sign is located in Stockholm, Sweden, 200 metres from the main train station. The City Hall is 500 metres away and the Royal Palace is 1.5 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Sited facing Stockholm's main train station, the Clarion Hotel Sign occupies a contemporary property with a distinctive glass and granite façade, and features interiors that draw influence from classic Scandinavian design. The hotel houses an eighth-floor spa centre that affords panoramic city views and offers a fitness room, outdoor pool, sauna, and a range of beauty treatments and massages. A multilingual concierge is on hand to offer sightseeing advice and book tickets for shows and excursions. Further amenities include 24-hour room service, laundry facilities, and valet parking.

The Aquavit Grill & Raw Bar is finished in a contemporary Scandinavian style and offers a relaxed atmosphere. The menu offers regional and international dishes. The Clarion Hotel Sign also features a poolside bar. A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided every morning.

Wireless Internet is available throughout.

The 558 guestrooms at Clarion Hotel Sign are characterised by clean lines and contemporary furnishings, and each floor's theme is influenced by the work of a different Scandinavian designer. Expert Tip. Stockholm's most-visited attraction, the Vasa Museum is dedicated to a 17th- century royal warship that sank on her maiden voyage and was recovered in the 1960s. The ship is extremely well preserved and notable for its intricate carved wooden sculptures and the personal effects of its crew.

From Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN):
Distance to the Clarion Sign Hotel is 50 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Arlanda Express train runs between the airport and Stockholm central station, 200 metres from the hotel. The journey time is 20 minutes, and single tickets cost 200 SEK. Trains depart from the underground railway station. Flygbussarna airport coaches run between terminals 2, 4 and 5 and central Stockholm every 10 minutes at peak times. Taxi rank officers guide passengers to a variety of taxis, including environmentally friendly cars. Taxis to the hotel cost about 450 SEK. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Stockholm city centre is easy to explore on foot, and has many pedestrianised streets. The city is served by an extensive bus network and metro (T-Banen) system, and trams run throughout parts of the city. Tickets are valid for 60 minutes and cost 30 SEK. Some islands in the city's archipelago are linked by boats in the summer months. Taxi fares can be very expensive.

Driving directions. From the airport, take the E4/E20 towards Stockholm.
Follow signs for Norrtull and turn right for Stockholm centre.
Follow Sveavagen and turn right at Olof Palmes Gata.
Continue straight on and turn right at the crossing onto Norra Bantorget.
