Location. The Grand Hotel is an imposing 19th- century property with an unmistakably Victorian façade, and is located in the centre of Lund, 100 metres from the train station. Sturup Airport is 24 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.
Hotel Features. The Grand Hotel Lund's health and relaxation facilities include a sauna and fitness suite, and a range of massage and beauty treatments are available on request. A selection of drinks are offered in the bar and coffee shop. The hotel offers complimentary public Internet access, and the concierge is on hand to book tickets for excursions and attractions. Other amenities include dry-cleaning services, airport transfers (surcharge), room service (limited hours) and a safe- deposit box. Motorists will find parking facilities on site (surcharge).

The hotel's Grands Matsal fine-dining restaurant offers Swedish fare accompanied by vintage wines from the well-stocked cellar, while the Gambrinus bistro features a large bar area and serves lunch and dinner.

Guestrooms. The 84 guestrooms are individually decorated and furnished in a typically Victorian style and include cable television, wireless Internet, direct-dial phones, coffee/tea-makers, minibars, slippers and complimentary newspapers. Bathrooms include showers, robes and designer toiletries. In-room massage is available on request.

Expert Tip. Lund's well-preserved medieval quarter is home to a Romanesque cathedral and an 11th-century church. The Konsthallen, 150 metres away, is a small modern art gallery with regularly changing exhibitions.

Anfahrt

Getting there. The airport bus stops 100 metres from the hotel. Alternatively, a taxi direct to the hotel will cost around SEK 395.

Driving directions. From the airport, take the exit marked Lund/Bjärred, and continue towards Lund for approximately four kilometres. At the large roundabout, take the exit marked Lasarettet, turning into Öresundsvägen. Turn right at the traffic lights at the end of the street. Turn left at the next traffic lights. Continue across the railway bridge, and then take the first street on the right after the bridge. Continue for 300 metres, passing Clemenstorget square on the left and Central Station on the right. Turn left at the first exit, and the Grand Hotel is on the right-hand side.

War alles in Ordnung

das Hotel ist sehr zentral in Lund gelegen und bietet einen guten service mit schönen Zimmern. Noch zu erwähnen ist das schöne schwedische Frühstück, dass man zum Zimmer dazu bekommt.
