The Hotel Baltzar is a listed, turn-of-the-century building, situated directly on Malmo's pedestrian shopping street, 500 metres from the Kungsparken. The hotel's 40 guestrooms have antique style decor with crystal chandeliers, parquet floors and wood furnishings, including antique chairs and writing desks. All offer satellite television, free Internet access, minibars and refrigerators.
Guests can enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast buffet each morning, which includes salad, meatballs, cheesecake and mueslis. Small business conferences can be accommodated for a maximum of 12 guests, with audiovisual facilities available upon request. High-speed Internet access is available in the public areas of the hotel, and the 24- hour front desk has multilingual staff that can assist with transport bookings, currency exchange and suggesting sightseeing tours. The hotel is well placed for exploring Malmo and the surrounding area; the adjoined parks of Kungsparken and Slottsparken are just 500 metres from the hotel, and other cultural attractions include Malmöhus Castle, one kilometre away, and the Turning Torso, Sweden's largest skyscraper, two kilometres from the hotel. Copenhagen Kastrup Airport is 30 kilometres (19 miles) from the hotel.

Anfahrt

Trains from the airport take less than 20 minutes. The nearest train station is Malmo's central station, 500 metres from the hotel. Taxis are also available from the airport and a typical fare would be 580 SEK.
Driving directions: From the airport follow signs to Malmo. Once off the bridge, take the first turn off for Malmö and follow signs for Malmö Centrum. The hotel is situated in the town centre, near Stortorget.
