The Lady's First Design Hotel is a boutique hotel occupying a 19th-century townhouse, situated 200 metres from the Opera House in Zurich's city centre. This four-storey hotel features 28 guestrooms, all of which are defined by bold, contemporary colour schemes, high ceilings, unique parquet floors and designer furnishings. All rooms have cable television, high-speed Internet connections, coffee/tea-making facilities, minibars and designer toiletries.
Those in need of pampering can spend some time in the hotel's health suite, which offers Finnish and natural saunas, a steam bath, a relaxation room and a solarium, while a range of massage treatments is offered by the hotel's qualified therapists. The rooftop terrace affords panoramic views over the city, lake and countryside. In the evenings guests can relax with drinks in the contemporary lobby bar, which can be hired for private functions. Executive travellers will find a range of office-support services offered in the business centre, and can stay connected via complimentary Internet access. Practical onsite amenities include dry cleaning, a safe-deposit box and an airport-transfer service (surcharge). Guests keen to explore the area can stroll down to Zurich Lake, 30 metres away, while the landmark Grossmunster Church and the shops and restaurants of the Bahnhofstrasse are 500 metres away. The Kunsthaus art gallery and the Kulturama museum and school of performing arts are both within three kilometres. Zurich Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel and can be reached by car in approximately 30 minutes.

The airport's Swiss Federal Railways station is located under Terminal B. trains run to Main Station, from where tram number four runs to Feldeggstrasse. Trams provide a cheap, efficient way to explore the city.
Driving directions: From the airport, head for Zurich. Turn at the Zurich-Aubrugg junction, following signs for the Zurich Opera House. Pass the Opera House, turn left onto Kreuzstrasse, right onto Dufourestrasse and right into Mainaustrasse.
