The Sheraton La Caleta Resort & Spa is set in tropical gardens overlooking the sea and La Gomera Island, in La Caleta on the Costa Adeje, 20 kilometres from Tenerife Airport. This five-floor hotel features 284 air- conditioned guestrooms with contemporary decor in muted natural colours, tiled floors, and Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds, which have plush top mattresses, fleece blankets, plump duvets and numerous pillows. All guestrooms include balconies, work desks, wireless Internet, satellite television with pay movies, minibars, and coffee and tea making facilities. Bathrooms are complete with toiletries, telephones, bathrobes, and slippers.
The pool village features three lagoon-style outdoor pools, beach volley courts, mini golf, and a Children's Centre with separate pool and recreation area. Guests have a choice of restaurants and bars, with international dishes, themed buffets and show cooking on offer at El Parador, regional tapas, wines and live music in the taverna-style La Venta, and sushi and Japanese cuisine available at the Kamakura Restaurant. Alternatively, guests can enjoy ocean views at the Vivace Pool restaurant, cocktails in the lobby bar La Glorieta, or ice creams from the Coral Pool bar. The 1800 square metre Eutonos Spa provides multifunctional treatment suites, each with a private courtyard, featuring a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, jetted tubs, a crystal steam bath, ice igloo and massage treatment rooms. The arcade room offers video games and guests can browse for souvenirs in the hotel shop. Ten meeting and banquet rooms are available for hire, and garage parking is on offer for those arriving by car (surcharge). Local attractions include the beach opposite the hotel, dolphin and whale watching three kilometres away, and the Boca de Tauce mountain pass 14 kilometres away. Tenerife South Reina Sofia Airport is 20 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
