Location. The Barcelo Cadiz is located in the centre of downtown Cadiz, Spain, within 500 metres of Victoria beach and one kilometre from the cathedral and old town. It is within one kilometre of Cadiz central train station.
Hotel Features. The Barcelo Cadiz is a modern hotel situated on Cadiz' main boulevard. The neutral contemporary interior is brightened by blocks of colour and complemented by subtle lighting and modern furniture. Multilingual staff can arrange 24-hour room service, express check-in and check-out and currency exchange. Other hotel amenities include wireless Internet access and garage parking.

The Barcelo Cadiz' Costa de la Luz restaurant features contemporary decor and furnishings and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The a la carte menu focuses on rice dishes, fish from the bay of Cadiz, and Asian dishes. The Costa de la Luz bar serves fast food and snacks, cocktails and long drinks and opens out on to a terrace.

Business services include a business centre with conference rooms and audio-visual equipment.

There are two golf courses within 10 kilometres of the hotel, while other nearby activities include water sports, scooter rental and a children's playground.

Guestrooms. There are 96 guestrooms built over eight floors. Amenities include satellite television, minibars, safes and high-speed Internet access. Bathrooms have telephones, scales and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. If you like beaches, you'll love Cadiz. The city's Victoria beach is itself a great place to head for, with fine golden sand and quieter spots just outside the city limits. Further afield, a wide range of beaches from tiny sheltered coves to wide stretches of sand pummelled by thundering surf mean that there really is something for everyone.

From Jerez de la Frontera Airport (XRY):
Distance to Barcelo Cadiz is 33 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number M-050 bus runs between the airport and Cadiz (via Jerez city centre). Single tickets cost 2.60 EUR to Cadiz. Taxis cost approximately 45 EUR to Cadiz. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Cadiz is spilt into old town and new town. The narrow streets of Cadiz's historical city centre are best explored on foot. The number 1 bus runs from one end of the city to the other. Trains run to Seville and Jerez from Cadiz train station. A car is useful for visiting the Andalusia countryside.
