Location. Opened in 2007, the Aparthotel Hesperia Fira Suites is a contemporary three-storey apartment building located in L'Hospitalet, the business district of Barcelona, three kilometres from the Fira 2 Trade Centre and 4.5 kilometres from Casa Mila. Barcelona El Prat Airport is five kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
Hotel Features. The Aparthotel Hesperia Fira's 24-hour front desk staff can provide concierge services and offer advice on local sights and attractions. Breakfast is served every morning (surcharge) and drinks and snacks are available via room service (limited hours). The hotel's public areas offer complimentary wireless Internet access. Other amenities include laundry facilities, currency exchange and a business centre.

Guestrooms. The Aparthotel Hesperia Fira offers 54 air-conditioned suites located on three floors, all of which are defined by contemporary decor in neutral shades with modern furnishings and polished black marble floors. All are equipped with LCD televisions with satellite channels in bedrooms and sitting rooms, complimentary wireless Internet, telephones and minibars. Bathrooms include hydro- massage showers, bathrobes and designer toiletries.

Expert Tip. Barcelona is home to many famous buildings designed by the architect Gaudi, including La Pedrera, now a UNESCO World Heritage property. Guided tours of the building are available. Casa Batilo, with its multicoloured undulating façade and allegory of St George killing the dragon, is another of Guadi's most famous works.

Anfahrt

Getting there. The airport train station is a short walk from the terminals, via a covered walkway. Take bus number 46 from the airport and get off at the oncology hospital. Cross the highway via the subway to Media Mark. The hotel entrance is on the right-hand side, next to the Hesperia Tower Hotel. The nearest metro station is Hospitale de Belvitge (Line 1). Taxis are available in front of the airport terminals and typically cost 15 EUR to the hotel. All prices are subject to change.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow directions to Barcelona/Gran Via/Ciutat Vella. Take the highway C-31 towards Barcelona/Gran Via. Exit at Salida 4B L'Hospitalet. Follow signs towards Ciutate Sanitaria. At the roundabout, cross the highway, following the signs for Hospital de Belvitge. Turn right and the hotel is at number 3.

Sehr gutes Aparthotel - Lage etwas außerhalb

Das Aparthotel war sehr gut. Es gab ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffett und es gab einen Nespresso Automaten kostenfrei auf dem Zimmer. Ferner gab es im Wohnzimmer und im Schlafzimmer ein PlasmaTV. Wirklich ein sehr nettes Hotel im Designer STil. Die Lage war nahe dem Airporto El Prat, also eher außerhalb. Aber die Endstation der Metro war zum Glück nebenan. Die Fahrt dann zum Stadtkern dauerte ca 20-30 Minuten.
