Beschreibung

Location. The Husa Guadalmedina is located in Malaga, Spain, 500 metres from the 16th century cathedral. The Alcazaba is 600 metres away and Torremolinos is at a 16 kilometre distance. The nearest train station is situated 600 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Set in the city centre, the Husa Guadalmedina occupies a contemporary-design property spread over six storeys accessible by elevator. The hotel extends to a terrace with solarium and offers an outdoor jetted tub and an onsite bar. The concierge is on hand to offer sightseeing tips, and further amenities include laundry facilities, garage parking (surcharge), and wireless Internet.

Guestrooms. The 60 guestrooms have sleek, modern decor and include air conditioning, wireless Internet, satellite television, hair dryers, minibars, and desks.

Expert Tip. Malaga's Picasso Museum, located 600 metres from the hotel, opened in 2004 and offers 12 exhibition halls dedicated to the artist's work. Alongside major paintings such as 'Mother and Child', the museum houses sketches and ceramics. There is a bookshop and café, and the building's basement is home to fine Roman and Phoenician ruins.

From Malaga Airport (AGP):
Distance to the Husa Guadalmedina is 8 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Trains run between the airport train station and central Malaga station every 30 minutes. Trains also run along the coast to the Torremolinos and Fuengirola resorts. Tickets are approximately 2 EUR. The number 19 bus runs every 30 minutes to Malaga's city bus terminal. Tickets cost 1 EUR. The Marbella bus runs to Marbella's city bus station every 45 minutes. Single tickets cost around 4 EUR. There is a taxi rank outside the airport terminal. Fares are approximately 15 EUR to Malaga, 20 EUR to Torremolinos, 55 EUR to Marbella, and 65 EUR to Puerto Banus. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Malaga's main attractions are situated within the city centre and can be easily reached on foot. A cheap and extensive bus service is in operation in the city. The resorts of Marbella, Torremolinos, and Puerto Banus are also easy to explore on foot. Driving is not recommended in the town centres, however, hiring a car is useful for exploring the coast and locations further inland. There is limited transport between the resorts, which are quite far apart.
