Location. Overlooking the bay of Palma, the Hotel Roc Illetas Playa is a modern complex set amid lush tropical gardens with direct access to the beach. The hotel is located seven kilometres from Palma and Palma Airport (PMI) is 20 kilometres away, taking approximately 25 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Terraced areas have views out to sea and are furnished with sun loungers, seating and umbrellas. There are two outdoor swimming pools complete with a children's area and a poolside bar. Guests can also swim in heated indoor pool and there is a sauna and jetted tub. The complex houses 'La Grotte' nightclub and further amenities include a supermarket, complimentary parking and a multilingual concierge service.

The Hotel Roc Illetas Playa features an informal, modern restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner, serving a range of Mediterranean dishes from an extensive buffet. The cafeteria offers snacks, drinks and light refreshments throughout the day.

Guestrooms. The 136 guestrooms feature modern Mediterranean decor and include air conditioning, satellite television and safes.

Expert Tip. Valldemossa, located 25 kilometres from the hotel, is home to the Royal Chartreuse of Jesus of Nazereth, an historic estate dating from the 14th century.

Anfahrt

Getting there. Taxis leave from outside Door D on the Arrivals floor and cost approximately EUR 30 to the hotel. Bus 17 leaves the airport every 20 minutes running to Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca. There is a bus stop in front of the multi-storey car park outside Door D of the Arrivals floor, and there is a bus stop outside the Check-in floor.

Driving directions. From the airport, head in the direction of Palma de Mallorca and exit for Via de Cintura in the direction of Andratx. Continue along this road and exit for Bendinat/Illetas. Keep left on reaching the Anchorage urbanisation. The Hotel Roc Illetas Playa is the first hotel on the right hand side.

Alte Bruchbude

Sehr gut ist im Nachbarort Portals Nous im Marineland die Seehund und Delphinshow, und der Hafen von Portals, um im Kaffee Capuccino zu sitzen und das Treiben zu beobachten.

Mehr Schein als Sein

Auf den ersten Blick ein schön gelegenes Hotel , direkt auf einer Klippe mit herrlichem Ausblick über die Bucht von Palma. Sobald man aber die Zimmer betritt,nur noch Schock. Die Möbelierung wurde seit den 60er Jahren nicht ausgewechselt , die Elektroinstalationen sind lebensgefährlich.Die Badezimmermöbel lösen sich in ihre Bestandteile auf.
