The Barcelo Costa Ballena is a modern hotel featuring traditionally Andalusian architecture, located adjacent to a golf course and 700 metres from a beach. The 228 guestrooms have light, modern decor with contemporary furniture. Amenities include satellite television, direct-dial phones, minibars and bathrooms with shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries.
The hotel houses two outdoor pools, plus a children's pool, and refreshments are available at the swim-up poolside bar. The spa centre offers Turkish baths, a sauna, a fruit bar and a range of therapeutic beauty treatments. The Albatross Restaurant serves a range of international and local dishes in a relaxed, colonial- style setting, while the lobby snack bar offers a variety of snacks. After a day's sightseeing, guests can work up a sweat on the fitness equipment, relax over drinks in the bar, or enjoy a game of billiards. Multilingual staff on the 24-hour front desk can exchange currency and offer advice on the hotel and the surrounding area. Motorists will find garage- parking facilities on site (surcharge). Bicycles can be hired on site, and golfers will find an 18-hole course located next to the hotel. Guests can spend lazy days on the beach, 700 metres away, visit the medieval castle of Luna, six kilometres away, or explore the picturesque town of Cadiz 25, which is six kilometres from the hotel. Jerez International Airport is 15 kilometres away, approximately 20 minutes by car.

Anfahrt

Taxis are available from outside the hotel and a typical fare will cost approximately 40 EUR. Alternatively, regular buses run from the airport.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the autoroute to Cadiz and then take the road to Puerto de Santa Mira (exit 23). Stay on the A491, following signs for Rota. Go straight ahead until the entrance for Costa Ballena is visible.
