Location. The Hotel Cerro de Hijar is located in the village of Tolox, Spain, in the hills above Malaga. At an altitude of 650 metres, this hotel has impressive views of the mountains and river valley beyond. Malaga is 25 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. A whitewashed hacienda-style property with a terracotta-tiled roof, Hotel Cerro de Hijar has a central patio, and a swimming pool with views of the Andalusian mountains. There is also a 24- hour front desk, and complimentary parking on site.

The restaurant is rustic in style, and serves local cooking. Breakfast is available for a surcharge, and there is also a hotel bar.

Meeting rooms are available for business events, and Hotel Cerro de Hijar offers audiovisual equipment and business packages.

Expert Tip. Tolox is a traditional Spanish village with its own festivals. On December 8, youngsters tear through the streets ringing bells, in celebration of an Arabic festival whose origins have now been forgotten. On August 16 there is a fiesta to celebrate the life of St Roque, culminating in a massive firework display.
