Beschreibung

Location. The Hotel El Fénix is located in the centre of Torremolinos, Spain, on a cliff above the beach and 200 metres from the busy shopping area of San Miguel Street. Torremolinos train station is 300 metres from the hotel. Malaga Airport is five kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Situated on a cliff above the seafront, the Hotel El Fénix is a 10-storey property that offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Bajondillo beach is directly accessible by lift from the hotel. The hotel features a health club offering spa and beauty services, a fitness suite, sauna, solarium and indoor pool. The roof terrace features a jetted tub that affords sea views. Further amenities include an Internet café, childcare services and onsite parking (surcharge). Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with travel and tourist arrangements.

The Murano Restaurant is decorated in bright, summer colours and features contemporary furniture and views of the sea. Lunch and dinner buffets feature Mediterranean and international dishes, with show- cooking displays. The informal Eden bar serves drinks and snacks and hosts live entertainment. Most meals, but not drinks, are complimentary for guests on the half- board rate plan. Guests not on the half-board rate plan will be charged for meals and drinks.

Business facilities include conference rooms with audio-visual equipment and high-speed Internet access.

There is a kids' club on site. The beach features a playground and offers opportunities for water sports, including jet skiing, windsurfing, snorkelling and scuba diving. Bicycles, scooters and horses can be hired in the area.

Guestrooms. The 121 air-conditioned guestrooms feature white walls complemented by deep-red curtains and bedding, and light-wood furniture. Distance to the Hotel El Fenix is five kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Trains run between the airport and Torremolinos train station, 300 metres from the Hotel El Fenix. There is a taxi rank outside the airport terminal. Fares are approximately 15-20 EUR to Torremolinos. Prices are subject to change.

Getting around. Torremolinos is easy to explore on foot. Driving is not recommended in the town centre, although a car is useful for exploring the coast and locations further inland. There is limited transport between the resorts, which are quite far apart.
