Location. Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive is framed by mountain views and edged by the Caribbean Sea on Gros Islet, St. Lucia. Pigeon Island National Historic Park is positioned one kilometer from the resort.
Hotel Features. This property partners with two other Sandals resorts located nearby. Complimentary shuttles transport guests between the properties. Guests have full access to all three resort's facilities. Dining options include Toscanini's Italian restaurant and Josephine's that serves sweet crepes and desserts, and specialty coffees. Bars include the Beach Bar, the Pool Bar and the Palladium Night Club that hosts live bands or DJ music. Recreational sports feature snorkeling and scuba-diving, use of a variety of watercraft, beach volleyball, tennis, billiards and darts. A fitness center houses weight and cardiovascular equipment, and offers aerobics classes. A 400-yard beach with an offshore trampoline raft hugs the resort's shoreline. Outdoor swimming options include a lagoon pool, a Romanesque pool with a 30-person spa tub, and an activities pool with a 16-person spa tub. A health-and-beauty spa offers a plunge pool, saunas and steam rooms. The spa lists signature treatments such as champagne and essential-oil massages by candlelight. Daytime activities include power walks and dance classes, while nighttime entertainment features live music and charity casino events.

Guestrooms. This resort offers 284 guestrooms housed within six three- and four-story canary-yellow buildings. Select rooms contain mahogany beds. Most accommodations offer 37-inch plasma televisions, and all rooms are equipped with dial-up Internet access. Décor features pastel yellow walls, ocean-blue or sea-green carpeting, rattan chairs and island-print bedspreads. Bathroom vanities are constructed with dual gray-granite sinks. Stocked minibars contain complimentary soft drinks and water.

Expert Tip. This resort is dedicated to the art of romance. Amenities come in twos, with two-person hammocks, two-person swings, two-person lounges with privacy shades, two-person massage rooms and a heart-shaped outdoor pool.
