The Dar Said is housed in a large whitewashed villa with Moorish interiors and situated in the famous blue and white village of Sidi Bou Said, 100 metres from the Dar Annabi museum. The 24 air-conditioned guestrooms are individually decorated in a traditional Moorish style with features such as intricate wall tiles and marble floors. All guestrooms include direct-dial phones, satellite television, Internet connections, minibars, and bathrooms with small Turkish baths and hair dryers.
After a complimentary breakfast, guests can soak up the sun by the swimming pool and enjoy the impressive views of the Mediterranean Sea or relax in one of the four charming courtyards of the hotel with their soothing fountains surrounded by jasmine, bougainvilleas and cypress trees. The poolside bar offers a choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks whilst the Dar Zarrouk restaurant serves a choice of Tunisian cuisine with panoramic views of the nearby marina and Gulf of Tunis. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can store valuables in the safety deposit box and advise on local amenities and attractions. Visitors can easily explore the surrounding popular 13th century village of Sidi Bou Said, visit the Dar Annabi museum 100 metres away, or the Erlanger Museum 300 metres away. Tunis Carthage Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
