Location. The Somerset on Grace Bay is set on two hectares along the soft white sands and turquoise waters of Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. The resort is less than five kilometers from snorkeling and scuba diving at Smith's Reef, and less than 10 kilometers from downtown Providenciales.
Features. This British Colonial-style resort offers separate estate homes at the English Villas near the water's edge, suites at the Stirling House and English cottage-style town houses. The resort features an infinity-edge pool with underwater sound system and reverse-current lap pool overlooking the beach. A tranquility garden with tropical flora and an orchid garden grace the property. The pool bar serves continental breakfasts and lunches. The O'Soleil restaurant serves fresh island-inspired cuisine in a setting that conveys European elegance, with vaulted ceilings and mahogany finishes. The Pearl Lounge, named for its inlaid mother-of-pearl bar top, offers specialty cocktails and al fresco dining under the stars. In-room dining or a personal chef and server for special functions are available. Three distinct spaces are offered for social events for up to 200 guests, company retreats and business meetings. Concierge service includes arrangements for horseback riding on the beach, and bone-fishing, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling and scuba-diving excursions. The "Somerset Sandcastle University" offers private or group seminars on building sandcastles.

Guestrooms.The Somerset on Grace Bay offers 54 accommodations with fully equipped gourmet kitchens, including wine storage refrigerators. Marble bathrooms include jetted tubs, designer toiletries and bathrobes. Suites and townhouses feature expansive balconies, and single-story estate homes offer wraparound terraces with private outdoor spa tubs. All accommodations are equipped with CD players, DVD players and 42-inch plasma televisions with surround sound and cable channels. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided in all units.

Expert Tip.The Somerset on Grace Bay features a professional croquet lawn, and offers a beach variation called "Somerset eXtreme Croquet."
