Beschreibung

Located by a sandy beach, the Columbia Beach Resort is housed a low-rise building featuring traditional regional architecture, sited overlooking the bay, midway between Pafos and Limassol. The 94 air- conditioned suites open onto balconies and have light, modern decor in neutral tones with wooden furniture. All include kitchenettes, satellite television, direct-dial phones and wireless Internet connections.
The hotel's 80-metre outdoor lagoon-style pool, set amid landscaped gardens and furnished sun terraces, is connected to the heated indoor pool and flows into a kids' splash pool. After a lazy day on the beach, guests can unwind in the spa centre with a steam and sauna or a revitalising massage treatment. Fitness fanatics can work up a sweat on the gym's fitness equipment, practise their game in the two squash courts or floodlit tennis court, or join an aerobics class. A range of water sports are available at the beach in front of the hotel, and windsurfing and scuba-diving lessons can be arranged on request. Golfers will benefit from discounted green fees at three local courses, and a golf shuttle service is provided. The Dionysos is an informal fine-dining restaurant offering table d'hote and a la carte menus accompanied by live music, the rustic taverna serves traditional regional dishes, and guests can enjoy pre- dinner cocktails in the Eros Bar. Those visiting on business can make use of wireless Internet access and conference facilities able to accommodate up to 280 people. Multilingual staff on the 24-hour front desk can offer advice on the hotel and the surrounding area, and light meals are available around the clock via room service. Those arriving by car will find complimentary parking facilities on site, and the hotel offers airport transfers on request (surcharge). History buffs will find several sites of archaeological interest, including Aphrodite's Birthplace, Old Pafos and the Temple of Apollo, within 15 kilometres. Larnaka Airport is 107 kilometres away, approximately 75 minutes by car. Please note.
